I never would have seen this except for a random comment on FB. This is so not my kind of music — style or lyrics. But it’s only the second time Splurge has been animated, to my knowledge, and that is exciting!*

The Magic Christian uses Splurge in DVD menus

Every once in a while someone will spot one of my fonts in the wild for me. Recently, Nathan Diesel tagged me on FB, excited to have spotted the ever-popular Splurge on the menus of the DVD that he was watching: The Magic Christian.

Splurge used in Austrian film “Hi Fonyód!”

Austrian film company 2010 Entertainment has used Splurge very prominently in their film “Hi Fonyód!” Not only is it in the title and on the poster, but it’s also animated on screen to illustrate one character’s voiceovers.
